Patient Participation Group

Get Involved

A PPG is a group of patients interested in health and healthcare issues, who want to get involved with and support the running of their local GP Practice. Most Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) also include members of practice staff, and meet at regular intervals to decide ways and means of making a positive contribution to the services and facilities offered by the practice to its patients.

We look forward to your ideas, suggestions and feedback.

We’re looking for patients who may be able to spare a couple of hours on an occasional basis to help improve our services, such as:

  • Advice about access, for example use of text messages, our telephone answering & opening hours.
  • Developing practice questionnaires about our services.
  • Helping us develop services that are good for all members of our community.
  • Making suggestions about how we can improve and helping us make changes.

We know that many people can’t make set meeting times, so we are interested in being able to contact you – with your permission – by telephone or email to get your help.

If you are interested in joining the group or just attending a meeting, as you wish to make positive changes for the Practice and its patients, please let reception or the practice manager know.

If you are happy for us to contact you occasionally by email please click the link below to open the sign-up form and complete all the fields.

If you prefer, you can download the sign up form as a pdf document, print it out, complete it and return it to the practice.

We will be in touch shortly after we receive your form. Please note that no medical information or questions will be responded to.

Many thanks for your assistance
