Travel Advice

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you will need to complete a travel health questionnaire.  This can be obtained by calling the surgery and requesting a link to one, or by collecting a paper copy from the practice.  Ideally we need 12 weeks notice to ensure the correct vaccinations can be given.

It is important to complete the questionnaire as early as possible – at least 12 weeks before you travel – as an appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. Some vaccines require a second appointment which ideally needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.

The practice is not able to offer some of the recommended vaccinations and you would have to source these at a private travel clinic; this is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.  See links below to local private clinics who can offer any travel advice.
