We are now accepting new patients for anyone living within our practice boundary.

NHS Health Check
This is a free health check for anyone between the ages of 40 and 74. The check can help you understand your risk of having a long term health condition and also support you whilst you make changes to your lifestyle. Please ask at reception if you think you are eligible.
You can also make an appointment with the Practice Nurse if you want to discuss weight loss and increasing exercise. She can help with a referral to Healthy Change who can offer classes and support to help you reach your targets.
Patient Survey Results
The patient survey ran towards the end of last year and was designed to gain valuable feedback from the patients of the Welbeck surgery about their levels of satisfaction with the services we provide.

New Leaf Clinic
We have a smoking cessation service here at the Welbeck if you would like to stop smoking.
The service can offer advice and encouragement and also various aids to stop smoking such as nicotine replacement products.
Appointments are available on Wednesday evenings between 4-

Out Of Hours Service
NHS 111 Service
For urgent medical care when the surgery is closed, please phone the normal surgery number:
Details will be given of how to contact the Out of Hours GP Service.
Alternatively, contact the NHS 111 service direct by dialing 111 on your telephone.
111 is an NHS telephone advice service.
Call 111 if you need medical help or advice but its not a life-
You can ring the service at any time, day or night 365 days per year.

Shingles vaccine is available as a single injection for anyone aged 70, 78 or 79.
It is expected to reduce the risk of getting shingles, and if you do get shingles, symptoms may be milder and the illness shorter.
Shingles can be very painful. Some people are left with pain lasting for years, and it is fatal for around 1/1000 over 70s who develop it.
The Care Quality Commission
The Care Quality Commission (CQC) were set up to regulate and inspect health and social care services in England.
They publish their findings on their website, and although they haven’t inspected Welbeck surgery yet, they have information about us here.

Nottingham Urgent Care Centre has now opened where the NHS Walk-
It deals with urgent but NOT life threatening conditions, including minor burns, minor head injuries, skin infections & suspected broken bones, dental conditions, eye infections & minor injuries.

Who can see your records?
A new scheme is being rolled out across Nottinghamshire to allow Health Professionals such as Out of Hours GPs, Walk in Centre staff & A&E staff to see a summary of patient’s medical records.
